On Friday, June 30th 2017, Media Panache partnered leading web hosting company, Whogohost to host Babe in Lagos (Building a business Empire Online) Seminar to train over 100 Entrepreneurs, SME owners, Individuals, on how to simply build website as well as ways on how to use social media effectively to boost their business. #SMARTSCHOOL WORKSHOP – Sidmach & Whogohost
-Brief:
On November 11th 2017, Media Panache partnered Sidmach & Whogohost to deliver #SmartSchoolWorkshop. Smart School is a product developed by Sidmach to provide a more convenient way of ensuring student data is available and accessible with ‘Smart School Software’ – a user-friendly cloud solution that stores individual data of every student, manages staff information, result processing and day to day running of the school. This session was led by Akintunde Opawole. Other topics that were discussed at the workshop include, importance of having a school online i.e. website which was led by Whogohost’s Toba Obaniyi and lastly, the attendees were trained on how to share authentic stories, use social media to amplify their message and boost their business. This was led by Media Panache CEO, Timilehin Bello.
Live and Wavy 1.0
-Brief:
On December 8th 2017, Media Panache partnered with Ten-Stringz production to deliver an outstanding Live Music Concert at Freedom Park, Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria. The Concert had in attendance over 1000Lagosians. There were performances from Ric Hassani, Isaac Gerald, Johnny Drille, Jeff Akoh, Aramide, TJAN, Clay, Byno, Temi Ovwasa and Bez Idakula. Live and Wavy was created for good music, youth networking, unlimited fun.
Otisese Carnival
-Brief:
Otisese Carnival was organized in December 2016 to celebrate the indigenous culture of the Yorubas, promote unity in Yorubaland and to welcome the new Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi to the throne. The carnival, despite being the first of its kind took place in Ile-Ife, Osun state and witnessed people from all over Nigeria and the world at large trooping in to join in the festivities. Hundreds of thousands of people attended the 5-day event. The event drew global attention when celebrated American rapper Snoop Dogg reposted a video clip showing daring stunts by bikers at the Otisese carnival.
Eargasm Concert
-Brief:
Eargasm musical concert took place on February 11, 2017 at Eko Convention Centre. The concert was strictly targeted at classical music lovers and aimed at presenting them with a unique blend of oldies and current music. It was also used to usher in the season of love ‘Valentine’. The event was hosted by Bovi and lead artistes were 2face, Tekno, Sir Shina Peters, Adekunle Gold, Niyola, DJ Neptune, Kelly Hansome and Yinka Davies. The show was also well attended by a host of A-list celebrities.
Yaw Apere Concert
-Brief:
Apere is the 9th edition of the “Yaw Live on Stage” series and it was met with a lot of gusto by fans and friends of comedian, actor and media personality Steve Onu aka Yaw. The event took place at Eko Hotel Convention Center on May 28, 2017. ‘Apere’ which starred Yaw and legendary singer Sound Sultan as main characters saw the duo in several situations which mirroring most of the problems we face in Nigeria, including social media craze, corruption, reprehensible economic state, polygamy and many more. Notable guests at the show include Former First Lady of Lagos State Mrs Abimbola Fashola, Saheed Balogun, Major Al Mustafa, Alibaba, Mary Akpobome, Tiwa Savage, Tuface, 9ice, Illbliss, Humble Smith, Duncan Mighty, Wale Turner, Kenny Blaq, Funny Bone and several more.
Ali Baba’s Spontaneity
-Brief:
‘Alibaba’s Spontaneity’ is a monthly comedy talent hunt organized by seasoned comedian Alibaba. Several upcoming comedians go head-to-head by cracking the funniest and most spontaneous jokes. Spontaneity isn’t just a regular comedy competition; it tests the comedians’ fast-thinking skills and ability to make people laugh while at it. The winner of the contest goes home with brand new car and gets to perform on the subsequent ‘Alibaba January 1st Concert’.
Checkpoint 2
-Brief:
Stage drama Checkpoint 2 was held on September 2016 at Shell Hall Muson Center, Lagos. The cast include comedians and actors Alibaba, Lolo1, Ogbolor, Fathia Balogun, Nedu, Timilehin Bello, Babakay and a host of others. The play depicted the typical Nigerian police checkpoint through comedy and satire. The play got a lot of thumbs up from attendees who commented that they could totally relate to the scenarios acted out. The Checkpoint 2 series is spearheaded by radio personality Tuale.
